so i'm just starting to be obsessed, but what kind of doctor is dr. bailey exactly? Nurse practitioner, general surgeon...thats my guess but i'd like to know! thanks!

I'm pretty sure she is a general surgeon resident. (Wikipedia has her in her fifth year of residency.)

i luv that show! im pretty sure that shes a general surgeon....and shes the resident for the interns. but im not positive.

She is a general surgeon. Also, she is "supervisor" over the new medical doctors that need to be certified. I love her attitude and how well she handles her "charges." I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.
