How much does a Nursing Practitioner get paid and is it a good job?

How much does a Nursing Practitioner get paid and is it a good job?

Of course it's a good profession but all you are is a glorified doctor and you have went to school for almost as much time! Schooling takes almost as long as medical school! So by the time you pay for all of that you might as well go to medical school!

View the website below to learn what nursing practioners get paid. From what I've heard, it's an excellent profession.

It varies, GREATLY.

The above poster is incorrect. After you get your BSN, every program around here, you can get your MSN, NP in TWO to THREE years.

Medical school is 4 years, plus 6,000 clinical hours of residency in a specialty, which can be another three years.

Total time is 7 years, and can be as long as 10 years, for some areas.

NOT EVEN CLOSE!
