Why are nurse practitioners so stuck up? |
I have had mostly bad experiences with nurse practitioners. They feel they don't get respect from either end. when they write orders the nurse questions tham and call the doctor back anyway. my NP is really sweet. Hmmmm...go to a doctor. There is stuck up, and there is deliberately distancing. If they have to deal with pain and suffering on a daily basis with people they have grown to care about, they will have a meltdown. So they hold you at arm's length. Generally, it's nothing personal... they have an inferiority complex i want to be a nurse practitioner. i love helping people, however it's a lot of work, and just like any regular person that works, by the end of the day, they probably want to go home too. |
