Where can I find cheap medical malpractice/professional liability insurance as a nurse practitioner? Define cheap. Why are we up so late answering these questions?????? It really depends on what State you are in to determine the availablity and markets. If you are an employee of a clinic you can usually be added to the clinics Malpractice for less tha a $1,000. in California. If you are on your own see an independent Broker who specializes in Malpractice because there are critical issues on these policies regarding "prior acts " and how to deal with them. Another option is to check your State's nursing asssociation. at least you can check for the price |
