What do you think of a male Neonnatal Nurse Practitioner?

What do you think of a male Neonnatal Nurse Practitioner?

I have been an NICU nurse for 12 years and haven't ever worked with one, but I don't think I'd have any biases or prejudices for or against. As long as you don't mind parents calling you 'doctor'. For some reason, they think that any male in the health care profession MUST be a doctor!

Who cares what anybody else thinks if you are doing what you love?

i think you can do whatever you wanna do.what do you think of a male gynecologist?

You won't have much male competition that's for sure but go for it if that's your passion. What a very rewarding place that could be and what a difference you could make in families lives.

I don't see a problem with it. As long as they are caring, nurturing, etc.

Good for him, thats a very very important and hard job.

Nothings wrong with it there's more out there than you think and there's actually neonatal nurses also. Father's actually bond with male nurses and nurse practitioners because they can have someone to relate with and talk to. Go for it it's a very rewarding field.
