How much is an average nurse practitioner paid monthly?

im in a carreers class and i need the be possible answer

The salary for NPs varies greatly dependent on multiple factors. Location, type of practice, specialty, years of experience, number of hours worked, call hours covered, bonus arrangements, and other benefit conditions.

As a national average, for all nurse practitioners, the normal range is from $68,000 per year to over $150,000 per year.

Remember some NPs work for other people, and work a set number of hours and get paid by the hour. Other NPs work for an annual salary plus a bonus and their hours may vary, Some work independently, and are paid dependent on how many patients they see, if they cover call, and other factors. Some NPs own clinics and have other NPs working for them. And I know of a couple of NPs who own several clinics, and have physicians working for them, and they have made millions over the years.

I work in a specialized area, and work only on certain cases, so I work less than 25 hours a week but have a lot of on call time, I average over $150,000 per year.
