Would you see a Nurse practitioner instead of a Doctor?

Yes, I actually prefer to see the nurse practitioner as they take more time to sit down and talk to you if you have questions, and they don't seem as rushed. A nurse practitioner has only about a year or so less education that doctors do.

This answer is so wrong. Docs use NPs to only take the routine cases. They are less apt to pick up a more serious, less common problem. Report It

Nurse Practioner. They are more personal, listen to everything you have to say. Doctors have a tendency to be in and out of the room before you get anything out. Doctors are too busy to be personal.

They are just as good in most situations and some of them care about you alot more and have more time to see to your needs...
