A young girl pregnant?

I am a 35 year old physician. I have been sleeping with a 20 year old student nurse---who came on to me--not vice versa. now she tells me she is 6 to 7 weeks pregnant. I told her to get an abortion, but she wont. What type of child support would I have to pay? I live in Michigan. Someone told me they get 400 a month, but does it go on my salary? how can I convince this little tramp to just get an abortion and leave me alone? I am posting in several categories so I can get more answers--this is a ver real situation people-----Thanks

You are calling her a tramp? It doesn't matter who came on to whom, it took two to have sex. About child support, I'm pretty sure it's proportionate to your income. If you fail to comply, the state will contact your employer and have them deduct the child support from your pay checks.

Hmmmmm, thats a hard one, you cant tell her what to do, Try talking to her and tell her thats it not the right time for the both of you to have a kid yet.... That it going to be tho hard. Wow...what a coward! You are the epitomy of what every female hates. You say that you are 35...old enough to be a man...so why aren't you??? I hate people like you that think that it's okay to screw around with a girl but don't even stop to think what if she did get pregnant?...you say you are a doctor so no bud it is not going to be only $400 a month...try more like $1250 a month. If not more. Don't be stupid and call her a tramp...cuz you are not any better. So be a man and own up to your actions...take some responsibility.

LOL, Your responsible for every action you do. You should have thought about this even when you got in with her. or invested in some contraceptives. And seriously be a man an live up and accept your consequences.

Well, you are a physician. Did you not even think of birth control yourself?? Don't call her a 'little tramp'. You were 'supposedly' the older/wiser. Even though she came on to you. Your not 18! Now, you will have to pay the consequences.

Well, I'm sure plenty of people will give you the old lecture of how you knocked her up & you have to pay the consequences. Unfortunately for you, they're right. Also, this is why I would ALWAYS recommend doctors avoid the young nursing students. I also work in the medical field, & went to college with a bunch of nursing students who had some pretty devious plans (not all nursing students are like this, but there are enough out there to warrant caution). Some of these women were true tramps, because they allowed their husbands to pay their way through college, & were quite candid about their plans to divorce once they had their degrees. Others would elaborate on their schemes to seduce physicians away from their wives, & would even go so far as to plan ways to get pregnant just to try to trap the doctors or at least get money from them. This is why you should always wear a condom, tie it off & flush it as soon as you're done so she can't retrieve it & use the contents to trap you, & make sure you bring your own condoms so she can't poke holes in them or otherwise compromise their integrity.

The sad reality of this is that the man has no rights in this situation. People always talk about the woman's rights where pregnancy is concerned, but the man has no rights. The only true rights you have are to either keep it in your pants, or get a vasectomy so you don't end up paying through the nose for any more living, breathing mistakes. Trust me, if you don't want to pay child support, these are your best, & unfortunately, only options these days. I don't think you can even give up your rights to the child to avoid child support anymore, & I've even heard of some judges forcing fathers to take visitation they don't want. At this point, I would tell you to transfer as many of your assets as possible so they can't be touched & counted against you, get a good lawyer, & fight to keep your payments as low as possible. I only hope for your sake you aren't married, because your indiscretion may cost you far more than child support for this illegitimate kid. I wouldn't want to be in your situation either, & am myself considering a vasectomy.
