Answer This One Only If You Want Too???

I am really just curious to know what some of you do for a living and about how much you get paid?? If you get paid by the hour or the job that you do? I am a nurse and work about 40-50 hours a week and my salary is around $1500 a week depending if i do the overtime or not..Do you think you get paid well for the type of job you do???

Im a nurse too (RN) make about 48 dollars an hour and I don't do overtime, I get time and a half to stay later and for holidays. I get night differential after 3pm and I work three days a week 11.5 hours a day so in one month I work 13 work days. I also get paid more if I am in charge or if I precept new nurses. Where do you live?

I'm a school crossing guard and get paid $100 a week I feel I'm getting ripped off because I risk my life everyday stepping out in front of cars to stop them. But on the brite side I work 1/2 hour in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon and get paid that much for someplace I have to be anyways to get my kids.

I'm on govt disability for bipolar disorder and I work a pt job at a hotel on the weekend, so make around 1500 a month. I think I get paid well because I check people in to the hotel and am on YA the rest of the night

I'm a teacher, and since I have an Ed.S. and have been teaching for 26 years, I get paid pretty well. We get paid by the month, and my salary is $65,000 a year.

Our salary is spread out over the 190 days that we work. Summer is NOT 3 months anymore....more like 6 weeks.
I think we deserve more for what we do.

I think those in your field do as well.

I'm retired early due to health, but wasn't paid good enough, it's a low paying county.
