Who have higher chance for higher salaries after graduating? A one with B.S. in Nursing or someone with MBA?

MBA. Since you are interested in both, consider a MBA in Health Administration. RN's with experience can earn more than an starting MBA, but its mainly due to the long hours and overtime. MBA's can take executive jobs with significant perks and bonuses which salaried personnel cannot. RN's are generally considered salaried except for Nursing Supervisors and Administrators. Nursing salaries vary widely depending on geography. Exception to moderate wages is Nursing Anethesiology which can earn more than most MBA's, but you have to have a top mind, and its hard to get into. Do a search on Yahoo's Hotjobs for nursing and MBA positions for salaries.

I would have to say nursing, no doubt. Many hospitals now even offer attractive sign-on bonuses for new hires.

It depends on how you use it.

Don't be blinded with greed. If you find something that you enjoy, you're going to be able to make more money.

If you're going to go into nursing and EXCEL at nursing, is it really going to matter?

Honestly, in the end money won't give you happiness. Find sometihng you enjoy doing and do it.

Example:
Nursing starts at different levels, but without a master's your big bucks won't happen. You have to start small.

If you get your MBA, you'll be easier to hire but you'll have to raise to the top, like anything.

MBA - and a lot more working hours. BS in nursing will give you a good salary, but around 36 hours per week.

Definitely the MBA...it can be more widely used than anything else. It means you are more experienced and dedicated. That is how i would look at it at least if i were a prospecting employer.

Directly after graduation an RN will make more than a newly graduated MBA, however; the MBA will have the potential for greater advancement and a higher salary with experience.

Anyone with Masters degree will typically make more money than someone with only a bachelor's, depending on the position that is obtained upon graduating.

Well, it stands to reason the more education you have, the higher your salary. If you're asking because you are facing a decision, then these two career choices are eons apart. Something you don't want to take lightly. Nursing is not an easy career. IF you make it through a nursing program, you will surely get a job, because there is a shortage of good nurses. However, you have to ask, "Why is there a shortage?" I won't go into it here, but ask any nurse that question.
Getting a MBA is impressive and can bring a great salary, sometimes, but the market is loaded with unemployed MBAs.
If you are asking just for info for school, etc., ask those who are in these careers.
