The time for pay rises has come again.Who deserves what.?

The government has said that it wants everyone to tighten their belts again this year and accept below inflation rate pay risesof around 2%.
Fair enough..you might think..if there is not enough money.
They then say they want to award themselves 60%...yes 60%.

Let's see how these figures translate to money:

A nurse on 拢18,000 a year would get 拢360 extra.

An MP on (a conservative estimate)...拢60,000 would get 拢36,000
EXTRA..this is twice the nurse's annual salary.
How do they justify this? By saying they are comparing with similar jobs in the city.

How do they get away with it?? Am I the only one to think this is unfair (it happens every year).
Last time everyone else..2.5%...MPs..25%

thatmy...you don't get it do you..I'm retired so it makes no difference to me but is it fair that one group gets 30 times the payrise of another?Unless of course you ARE an MP.
