*Home>>>Nurse Salary

Does this make sense?

The government has said that it wants everyone to tighten its belts again this year and accept below inflation rate pay rises of around
2%.
fair enough, you may think..if there is not enough money to go around.
They then say that they want to award themselves 60%..yes 60%.

Let's see how these figures translate into money:

A nurse on 拢18,000 a year would get...拢360 extra.

An MP on (a conservative estimate)..拢60,000 would get 拢36,000!!!

Their pay rise would be double the nurse's annual salary.

They try to justify this by saying they are comparing with similar jobs in the city.

How do they get away with it? Am I the only one who thinks this is unfair(by the way, I am not a nurse)?/

Last time..everyone else 2.5%...MPs...25%.

Totally out of order, they have always done it,but like everything else they throw at us we will all moan on here and other places and do sod all about it.

Perhaps we should have more petitions like the one for charging for the roads,I million signed it and now its not going ahead.

Did the government really say that? Shame on them!

Totally unfair, and everyone in the civil service gets a 75% pension!
They also want to bring in road charging on bought and paid for public roads, so effectively the roads are for the rich only.

Yeah...it's unfair...

that's unfair
shame on the government
