Being vet, head vet nurse or vet nurse or something else?:)?

Hello there,
can someone tell me what the salaries are like in the UK for the above positions and what the core of their work is...I can imagine what vet does, but i'm not clear on the later.
Or, is there some other position you can think of that involves animals and their care?
Thank you.

Trainee vet: minus tuition fees for 6 years of training

Trainee vet nurse: 拢6000-10000/year for 3 years. do lots of cleaning (floors , cages), reception duties and of course training.

Qualified vet nurse: 拢15000. nurse consults (post op checks, nail clipping, dental checks...), blood and urine taking + analysing, putting an animal on fluids, bandaging, anaesthesia monitoring, help vet on various duties (put to sleep, holding animals, visits...)

Head nurse: 拢20000-25000. like qualified vet nurse but need to assume administrative duties (staffing, drug ordering ...)

Qualified vet: 拢30000-40000. consultations + surgery

Obviously those duties and wages are my own estimation and depend greatly on experience and individual abilities.

It depends on your age and the practice you work for and if they pay the national wage or their own hourly rate.Vet work consists of performing operations on animals, administering drugs and diagnosing illnesses.Head vet nurse and vet nurse basically have the same jobs which include assisting the vet during procedures, drawing up injections, triage (bandaging) and taking care of in-patients on the vet premises. You could work in an animal rescue centre that re-homes un-wanted animals like the RSPCA or blue cross, they're always looking for staff.Their duties include taking the dogs for exercise, feeding and grooming the animals and cleaning out the living quarters.

These esimates are for new graduates
A vet graduate about 拢48,000
A vet nurse about 拢10,000
