Should i exchange my current job(company nurse) to being a call center representative? |
im a company nurse working for convergys, (call center)and im so bored with this job, i cant manage the company clinic anymore; i was offered to work as a customer service representative with twice the salary that i get from my current job..should i get it? The only way for you to find out is to try, you can never tell if the job is for you or not for you, it might be not enjoyable for some but will be for you. Who knows, you're not happy with your current job try another one. Find out the details, if it sounds like something you'd like, and if you're not happy with your current position, go for it. Twice the pay does sound nice. well i guess if that is what u want..... I was a call centre agent for almost a year and it was extremely stressful and I was stuck doing night shifts. I enjoyed the challenge at first, but then it became damaging to my health... sitting for long periods of time, etc. The money wasn't worth it! NOOOO, i currently work in a call center and it is awful. I am trying to find a new job that will pay about the same, but it is difficult. This is a highly stressful job and the turn over rate is LOL. I am not laughing at you, but I am recalling the days when I worked in a call center. This is a case where the dumb cliche' "money isn't everything" actually applies. More than likely, if you are unhappy in nursing, you will hate working in a call center! Find your passion, decide if there is a way to capitalize on it financially and make it happen. Don't allow yourself to go into a rut (doing the same thing day in and day out for 20-30 years) then wishing you would have done things differently. No, I worked in a call center and customers treat you like crap. Very stressing job. |
