In the US which has a high salary, 3D Animators or Nurses?

I have friends in both industries....i would definately say nurses have a higher salary, while 3D animators face a high variation (location, company, experience), nurses in general are in short supply and they are high in demand these days.
Just did some searches: For the animation field..."Median annual earnings of salaried multi-media artists and animators, including 3D animation professionals, were $43,980 in 2002. The middle 50 percent earned between $33,970 and $61,120. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $25,830, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $85,160." My friends just got into this industry and range from $29k to $40k for first year, not bad, and they tell me that the veterans in their fields generally make over $55k.
For nurses the national average is $57k for 1st year, and $64k for 3+ year experience. Of course it depends on your location and hospital... i know nurses that make six-figure salaries plus bonuses. ...... i think i should reconsider my career lol.
