Hey guys I need to know if being a navy nurse has better benefits than a regular nurse and if the salary is good. Please help if u want to travel a lot I don't know, but I can't think of a better field or pursuit, just from my feelings. who do you want as patients? No, I've worked with both the pay is better in the private sector but they are both uniquely different experiences. Pay is much better as a civilian. And if you want travel, use that extra money you make to travel with the extra money and more time off you'll get. In the military you get 30 days vacation a year, regardless of rank. Also in the military, you'll be working a lot more. The salary ain't as good but, your serving your country. Also, the health and dental beifits a FREE. The Navy takes care of you pertty well. NURSE is just a title for a job, the better or worse nurses depends of the person inside the job. Has you have watched the movie "Gone with the wind"? If your in it for the money then go civilian. |
