Do you think nursing jobs (nurses, etc) salary will go up to $40 an hour?

Since there's a shortage of them

It depends on where the job is located and the amount of education. In Ohio some facilities are offering BSN's ( BS in Nursing) $32/hour to start. So I would imagine that $40 is not an unattainable amount. BTW Nurses with Phd's are writing their own tickets. And while $40 may seem astronomical it's only $1440 per week ( Based on a 36 hour week as a lot of nurses here work 3 -12 hour shifts) or $1600 on a 40 hour week. After taxes you won鈥檛 be hungry but you definitely won't be buying a Bentley

Where I live that is about the going rate.

maybe 10-15 years from now when the baby boomer generation is really elderly. I live in florida and right the starting rate for new nurse is $20.00 less than that.
