CNA (certified nursing assistant) salary? |
i live in louisiana. What is it in your state? per hour? i'm doing the course in highschool so i can do it during college:) i want ot be a PA. Hey there.... i have my certification as a nursing assistant and I have liscence in Alabama, Georgia & Florida. Depending on the facility the pay can be very different. In Georgia I know people have worked for as little as five an hour (which is CRAZY!) to much work for to little money! I only work through nursing agencies which will pay you double what a facility will. For instance fresh out the door with my cna I was hired in making 10.50. Where as the place that certified me & i got my licence from was only paying me 7.75 (Alabama) and that was on an 11p-7a shift!!! :-) crazy ****! they usually get between 8-10 dollars per hour in NC as far as I know In Michigan it's like 12-15 dollars per hour Don't waste your time, go for the RN degree! You'll be glad you did! Good money, plenty of opportunities and the ability to write your own ticket after a few years. In Florida My friend gets $8.50 an hour, she hates it, but kinda stuck in it now. she gets treated so badly, from the nursing home and the patients, |

It depends on where the job is located and the amount of education. In Ohio some facilities are offering BSN's ( BS in Nursing) $32/hour to start. So I would imagine that $40 is not an unatt...
