What is the average salary for nurses in alberta, canada?


i am a nurse here in ireland and i'm planning to transfer to canada. i just want to know the average salary of a nurse particularly in alberta

"According to the 2005 Alberta Wage and Salary Survey, Albertans in the General Duty Registered Nurses occupational group working part-time or full-time earned from $15,200 to $61,800 a year. The average salary was $48,700 a year."

The second source is a news article which suggests a 15% increase in wages has just been approved for all nurses.

RN's start at around $28 and LPN's around $18 an hour

It would be about $30 per hour.
