Specialties in nursing salary?

what are the highest payed nursing specialties i.e. working in a hosptial or working with a plastic surgen. pediatrics, icu.......

i know someone who lives in Ohio, works 4 days a week, 1 being overtime(RN's work 3 12hr shifts) and she made $78,000 last year------she works in ICU

I know OR, ER, ICU, Cardiac, and Telemetry pay the most because no one wants to do it. Everyone wants to deliver babies and not see people die, but the fact is, you get paid more where there is more risk, more death and gruesome wounds and also more stress. So it all depends on what you want to do.

nurse anesthetist make about an average of 180/200k. not bad, huh?

Depends on experience, speciality, and city you are in. CRNAs make good money. Don't know about the DNPS, and PHDs.
Specialities like ICU,ER,NICU etc pay more. Hospitals pay more than doctors offices. Agency or PRN =more pay.

GNs make about the same no matter what floor they work on. Once you have experience, Specialty areas pay better sign on bonuses especially ICU and ER because there is such a shortage. Agency and Traveling pays the most.

CRNA about 150 to 200 a year
