It depends on the facility and level of acuity of the patients.

I'm one of those FAKE nurses and make 30.00 an hour.
I have ten years experience and teach.
Nursing homes pay the least to start 17.00 an hour.
If you work SNF or med-surg in a hospital 20-23 hr.
working for agencies pays better. Get a degree and you make 30 an hour, more with experience, or if you travel.
If you travel you'll make better pay also. You'll need to get 2 years of experience under your belt, before agencies will be interested. (Whether you're a fake nurse or a so high and
mighty big mouth with a degree). The more experience you have the more you are valued. The REAL education starts when you're on the floor working , not behind a desk. Never think so much of yourself, or you'll be the nurse to hurt someone or kill them, the nurse that does not learn, or the nurse I write up.
