How much is the minimum and the maximum salary of a nurse in the US? |
How much is the minimum and the maximum salary of a nurse in the US? I graduated nursing as an RN in 2002. I started in a small town in ICU making 17.00 and hour. Within a year and a half I was working on the prn pool at a slightly bigger hospital making 36.00 an hour. Depending on if you need benefits or not you an make a lot of money as a contract or traveling nurse depending on where you go. I had friends who went to LA and worked 6 weeks had their housing food etc pain for and made 60 an hour. They had to sign a 6 week contract and they worked in ICU. There are so many different oprotunities in nursing the pay varies so much... |
