Anything we can do about a mom shooting up controlled narcotics in front of her daughter? |
My husband's ex wife recently had 12 felony charges against her for stealing liquid injectible Demerol from her patients (mostly women undergoing C-sections) which she plea bargained down to a misdameanor drug conviction. She is a nurse anesthetist for various hospitals (just shy of an MD Anasthesiologist). Johny B: I wonder if I should include the link to her drug charges, theft, and conviction??? It's on the internet and my husband and I have the link.... I say screw the children services they've proven themselves useless time and time again, and contact the media. Most of them now have some kind of "call for action" segment, and love that kind of cr*p, especially on slow news days. I'm sure they and the public will love the fact that a nurse handling anesthesia for surgeries is shooting herself up with pain killers. Especially if there's been any "complications or deaths" related to any surgeries she attended. And, the fact that the licensing board is doing nothing about it.....If that got out, the hospital could face some major lawsuits, as well as the licensing board. Heads will roll.....just a matter of getting the info and your links with her charges as proof, to the right person willing to take it on. And, usually they'll let you do it all anonymous. Good luck! Sounds like shes got a real problem. What the nursing board is doing is totally wrong. She should be banned from EVER practicing nursing again. At least where any drugs will be accessible to her. The only thing you can do is call CPS. If they have 3 complaints they HAVE TO BY LAW investigate. You can also be completely anonymous. Many times they will investigate with only one report and those guys dont mess around. Otherwise you can file a police report but that, sorry to say isnt anonymous. Of course you could call in an anonymous tip :D Good luck and I hope the best for that poor child. Contact the Department of Family Services, they will take care of everything. Call child protective services in your state. You can report information anonymously and someone look into the complaint. Do you want custody of the daughter though? Be careful because if this daughter is old enough to understand what is going on she is also old enough to resent you for making her lose her mom. You need to something like this gently or it can do more damage than good. If it is possible to put this woman in treatment or get her to stop using without involving authorities, you may want to try that first. contact child protective services and tell them about the bust and the fact that the drug use is ongoing. They will take it from there. Call your city or county's child welfare agency (usually goes by Child Protective Services or something) and place a report. U can reportr it ANONYMOUSLY to child protective services. And they should investigate. good luck child protective services. I don't know the exact laws there but I know here if something like that is reported to the department of family and children services it has to be investigated by law. Not that they do an outstanding job some of the time in getting to the root of problems, but it's at least a starting point. If you feel strongly about it keep calling your local and state government agencies until you find someone to help you. A squeaky wheel gets the oil and if a child's welfare is involved you have to do what you feel is the right thing. Good luck Um, I suppose blast the problem all over the INTERNET! Nothing more humiliating than PUBLIC humiliation. That would be sweet if you could get her on video doing it and then like upload it to YOUTUBE with some caption, "Anasthesiologist spiking herself some demerol!!" Oh, and then don't forget to open it with a caption that says something like, "The Following Video has been approved by CA Nursing Board." She needs help. The kidds and patiens need protection from this. But you just sound like you want to hurt her. So you aint so wonderful. First, don't include any links to her charges in this forum. Your husband needs to contact a good lawyer and file for custody of his daughter. I would call Child Protective Services and report all this to them. |
