How long does it take to become a nurse anesthetist?

How long does it take to become a nurse anesthetist?

It can take up to eight full years depending on the requirements of the graduate school you attend.

First, you need to get your Bachelor's degree in Nursing which will at least take 4 years if you don't have any previous college credit.

Then, most Graduate Programs require you to be 'in the field' for two years before they will accept you, and then it will take another two years of full-time graduate schooling.

The pay is well worth the wait.
