Do you think a Nurse Anesthetist is a good career choice?

Do you think a Nurse Anesthetist is a good career choice?

It's a good career choice if you're going into it for the right reasons, and not just because you want the nice fat paycheck.

You really need to be intelligent, an excellent critical thinker, and able to handle working in critical care environments.

Just getting into a nurse anesthetist program take an extreme amount of dedication and hard work, it's not easy at all.

As long as you know what you're getting yourself into, it's a great career. Good luck!

If you like it, go for it. If I had the brains and interest for that field, I certainly would. The pay doesn't hurt, either.

why not just be a DOCTOR of Anaesthesia, an Anaesthesiologist?

Oh yes. Its such a great field I think. But you have to be extremely careful and know your stuff. That is why the pay is so great. You want to be top notch in that field. No room for errors. I would love to do it, but I'd be terrified at the same time. I envy anyone who can do it though. Well, not envy, admire. Good luck!

They are the highest paid nurse positions, but besides money nurse anything is a good career choice.

It is an excellent career choice. The education for it is difficult, the job is extremely challenging, but you will be well compensated for it as well. One advantage of being a nurse anesthesist over being an anesthesiologist is that you can work under an anesthesiologist where you make a ton of money, but don't have such extreme insurance payments.

Yes.

If you think its something you'd enjoy, go for it. BIIIIG bucks in the field.
