What is the lifestyle like of a doctor or nurse anesthetist?

Is it like a rich lifestyle...with awesome cars, big houses, great friends, and awesome Christmas's?

I'm deciding on my career path right now...and I don't really have any real passion for anything...so I'm thinking about becoming a nurse anesthetist for the huge paychecks it entails.

Whatta ya think?

pick something you like !

i think that you should choose a career based on how you like it, not how much it pays

go for it!

how rewarding , NOT !!

No passions eh? What is your motivation for living. You need some hobbies dude, cuz having lots of money isn't gonna help if you can't use it. If you really don't have any passions (which is really sad) i'd say go ahead for the big paycheck and try and put the money into finding yourself a hobby.

I'm an Emergency Room nurse. Granted I make decent money, but anesthetist nurses don't make much more than me. The still have a 5 digit yearly income.

Well duh!

nurse anesthetist makes 6 fig

ask yourself why they earn the bucks they do.

get smart on what is required and then do a serious gut check before you decide what to do. you might save yourself some serious heartache.

there are a bunch of ways to make money.

its gotta be about something else.
