Quitting my job!?

i started a job in a estate agents in july after bein a assistant entertainments manger in a hotel for 3 yrs and before that was a nursery nurse.
I now realise i have made a big mistake in changing my career path and despaeratly want to get back into child care, the problem is, it doesnt look very good on application forms when i say ive only been here 4 mths and i want to do something completly different, so i dont know how to get around this and also wot to write in the box tht always says why u want to leave!

Be frank and straight forward. If they ask, tell them you miss child care and realize it's far more you than office work. People are allowed a mistake or two especially when you are trying to gt back into something after being away.
When you send your resume put something in the cover letter like - I realize now as I gain valuable office experience that my passion and real interest is working with children. I really miss it and want to get back to. Your position is what I want in my life.

And don't say it unless you mean it.

Just be honest. Tell them that you do not find the new job to be what you had expected and would rather do a job that you will enjoy, know you are good at, will be a challenge, will give you a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
Find a new job before leaving this one and let prospective employers know that you will need to give a 2 week notice to your current employer. THAT will say a lot about the kind of employee you are.

Be honest with them. Tell them that you just realize that your heart is in child care. It's ok to have a change of heart. All of us do that sometimes.
