I havent recieved a start date for new job - What shall I do?

Today I have completed my contract at my current job which has halped tide me over with work and money until I start this one.

I got the offer for a job at a nursing home as an admin assistant, and I have had my CRB check, references and medical all completed. I have said that I will start Monday, but I don't have a start date and money is a bit short.

What shall I do?

If it's a large company, you can ring HR to see when your start date is confirm as being, if it's a smaller organization, you may call the person who you met(I assume you kept their card, when you met them?

Once you have confirmed that the start date is later that you'd want it to be, call your direct supervisor and let him know you've finished your current assignment earlier then originally expected, and you're available to start beforehand, should it be needed.

Finally, they should have really sent you a contract through the mail. You may want to enquirer about this as well. This would include your salary, leave, and start date information, as well as loads of other details you may want to know.

Give them a call to confirm the date

ask them? we clearly cant answer that for you!!!

Phone them and inquire if you can start Monday as agreed.

You can call them up and ask if all formalities have been completed.

Give them a call and see what the earliest start date they would let you come in.

call your interviewer or the human resources dept at the place you interviewed.

start crying lol good luck
