Ultrasound Questions?

I had an ultrasound done on Tuesday and I received a voicemail from my doctor on Thursday regarding my ultrasound, unfortunately I didnt hear it until today and the office is closed. I am almost 7 months along... I am worried about what the Dr. could be calling about, does anyone know what possibilities there might be or what kind of things they can tell at that time in a pregnancy? Im really worried... thanks...

Also the Dr. called personally, it wasnt the nurse or assistants...

Go ahead and call him, even if the office is closed. If he is the one on call then you should get thru to him. It is not good for the baby to have to wait with anxiety.

nothing we can tell you..but im sure if it was an emergency, he would have left you a more detailed msg...like "Go to the ER" or "call my cell, please"

good luck hun

why don't you call the after hours number and ask to have him paged, that way you could feel more at ease.

Your doc didn't give you his/ her beeper number? Or cell phone? I'd try reaching him/ her personally if you're feeling stressed about it.

It could be...who knows. Maybe they needed to check for something and didn't get a very clear reading and want you to come back. Maybe the baby seemed large or small and they want to re-evaluate your due date. It doesn't necessarily mean there's anything wrong. I'm sure if it were something serious the doc would still be trying to call you, and not just from the office, right?

call the hospital and see if he is there and ask to speak to him or have him call you... let him know you were just concerned and as soon as you heard the message you tried to get ahold of him... that's what dr's are there for- you are his patient just give him a call. he should also have given youa house number, and it's not inappropriate to call him at his house

It's probably nothing to worry about. If it was something he was greatly concerned with I'm sure he would of had you come in ASAP or even go to the ER. Try calling the clinic after hours number and see if they can page him and have him call you back.
