Develop an fire evacuation procedure in an aged care facilities?

i am working as an assistant in nursing in an aged care. I have been asked to develop an fire evacuation procedure.

Nearest exit is about right, but in a aged care facility you will need to assign people to assist elder that are incapable of moving quickly.

Assign different staff positions to be in control of different areas. Those people will be responsible for safely evacuating their area and making sure it is clear.

Number all of the exits and post maps in the hallways.

Balance the number of people leaving an exit with closeness of the exit. In other words don't try to get too many people through one door.

Get a map of the place and get everyone out by the closest exit
