Would you get a new ob-gyn if.....? |
i went to be ob-gyn on 10-19-07 & found out that I was pregnant. they scheduled an ultrasound 2 weeks later (11-1-07) and had blood work (HCG counts to make sure the numbers were going up). i went to it. there was blood around the empty sac- i assumed the worse, i cancelled the follow up ultrasound. i cancelled my first prenatal appointment & scheduled an abortion instead. First of all good for you to change your mind. It sounds like you are already bonding with the baby. Second... I understand what people are saying about letting it go but if you are not comfortable there are other doctors out there. I have to say if it were me I would have insisted they make room for me since it was their error... But that's just me. no i wouldnt...it was ALL a big mis understanding. It was just a simple error, why get a new ob? sometimes it is hard to get doctors, and it doesnt sound like there was anything particularly wrong here besides a misunderstanding. i would just forgive and forget and go on with your appointments. hope this helps! No, I wouldn't. the office shouldn't have rescheduled the appointment without calling you first. but that doesn't mean that you should get a new doctor. It was just human error. If you like the dr. and you like the people there, you should take that into consideration. but if you want to have an appointment earlier that would be a different story, i think the dr. would understand. Okay, I am completely biased here... but this is my personal experience: I don't know if I would switch doctors based on this...like some folks have said, it was a human error. It happens sometimes. I am a little surprised they didn't squeeze you in, though... it was just an error, but they shouldve called you as well before they cancelled your appointment |
