Im doing a nursing assignment...(charting)? |
What are the legal requirements for accepting charting thats done in the hospital? for CNA in a hosptial I am not sure what kind of charting you are asking. I am an RN and work in a hospital, and I am not aware of any charting that the CNA's must do. The CNA's take vital signs, I/O's, accu checks, but it is the nurses responsibility to review these before she charts/documents in the patient's record. CNA's sometimes record vital signs in the chart, and I guess might chart if they give a patient his food, but that's essentially it; it would, however, depend on the hospital's policy.... |
