What do I do anymore?????

I am a junior and I thought I was decided what I want to do. I need some advice on what I should do for my future. I was stuck to business for the past 4 to 5 months but over some recent recondideration I have changed to the medical field.... My choices are

Dental Hygene
Physician Assistant
Nursing

Now I am awesome at History and do I want to be a history teacher. Can someone tell me what is best to do. I need mucho help!!!! Basically my goals are to make some form of money that I can support a family and not have to be in a financial struggle.

My answer to this question would be to go into what you are passionate about. Think about it. It may not be what you are good at, but what you really want to do with your life. You also want to be happy with it in the long run and not want to wake up every day not wanting to go to work.

If you really can't make up your mind, may I suggest taking a few career personality tests that you can find online, talk to your teachers/professors/guidance counselors/someone you trust, or research job opportunities for your interests. Chances are, you may not like those jobs, and like some in a different field. Its all up to you. Good luck!

I've been in your situation. In my life in some point and time, I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, chemist, politician, lawyer, businesswoman, diplomat, chef, travel agent, writer, professional ice skater, and others.

Now though, I don't have a certain job I want to be. I decided I'm going to major in something I love and take it from there.

You should major in a subject you love. If you truely love a subject you will get a "high" from it. Info from the field will make you feel like "OMG THAT'S SO COOL!"

And remember just because you're good at a subject doesn't mean you love it. My brother is great at engineering, but he doesn't want to major in it (actually it's questionable whether he will go to college; he's a senior and didn't apply anywhere). I'm really good at memorizing social health (like in the health class most have to take in high school), but I don't want to be in that field. I personally get my "high" off of Korean language and culture.

So, consider what you truely like and get a "high" off of. If possible take a few summer courses at a local CC in subject that you like to see if you really like them.

I hoped this helped! ^_^

Quite a crossroad, isn't it? Money or happiness? Me for instance, I know I'm gonna hate my job, I can feel it (I plan to major in Finance) I hate numbers and I love words, the written word just gets to me, but I want to be able to support a family too.
I love history, I love literature, writing, even grammar classes!!! but I REFUSE to become a teacher.
Most of my teachers spend their lives complaining on how unfair their pay is, and how they had to kill themselves studying to have this educational system now that doesnt value their work.

So I'll have to be just another one of those billions on Earth who'd wish they'd be doing anything except their jobs, but they have to, in order to carry some money home every month.

But maybe you could find something that could fulfill you, and still be financially stable, you have time to decide.

Oh and if you're going to college anyway, why dont you become a real physician, you know, so much trouble to be an assistant or a nurse? That's my opinion though, I know people who have become qualified nurses in less than a year.
