Can I get a job as a nurse assistant if I have a misdemeanor of 10 years ago?

If you write a letter to or appear in the court that you were convicted, aske the judge to remove (expunge) the misdemeanor from your record so you can pursue schooling to become a nurse.

Every court officer wants you to succeed and 10 years is a long time to prove you are now on the right track. Shoot higher than nurses assistant though in your request...nurses get paid more after schooling and then pay more taxes - more incentive for the judge to get you into a tax payer instead of a tax spender...

Sure,but you have to go through classes to get certified.Try a local community college to see if they offer CNA courses,I'm sure they do..good luck.
