Seizure disorders?

i am takeing classes to be a cnan (certified nurses assistant) and i have to do a paper on seizure disorders i need th know what they are what you can do to stop them and all meds that can be given if you have seizures, so i need to know like everything about them can you help me?

epilepsy is the main one. there is no cure, but meds and surgery are two ways of controlling seizures. There are a lot of meds and I cant name them all so you'll have to look those up. epilepsy.com is a good site. i know all of this because i have epilepsy

Other than meds ther is a diet that does work for some people stikk today I would think. I forgot what its called but it has to deal with eating alot of fatty foods. and also there is the VNS which has made many seizure free. vagus Nerve stimulator
