How does a person become a CNA?

As in a Certified Nurse Assistant?

Vocational schools and community colleges offer CNA classes, some nursing homes and hospitals offer the class. After you take the class you have to pass the state test, usually given at the vocational school or community college in your area.

Call your local nursing homes. They usually have a class starting every month. And are willing to pay for the class and pay you to work there while your getting certified. Report It

I'm not sure what state you live in but there are many programs at your local Community College. Go ahead and ask for info. Its rewarding you will love it!

You might try being a N.A. then get certified!

LOL-Seriously though, it is a good first step to begin collecting wages while advancing in one of the few recession proof job fields out there!

watch your local paper ....they offer classes for it all of the time

some junior colleges have the CNA 14 week course. But some agencies who have CNA's work for them (and are sent out on jobs) will have a trainer from the college come over to train a group of people to become CNA's in one of their classrooms. So check with the agencies. You can also call Kelly Services medical and ask them.

Vocational School. It cost like 500 bucks.
