I have very bad credit and i need a way to get a car so i can get a job.single mother-no money saved-any ideas

i do not have anybody to help me out in this situation...father of my child is in prison so i get no help from them and i need a way to be able to get a vehicle somehow so i can get a job to support my son. does anyone know of a way to get a loan or someone eho is willing to let me make monthly payments to them..i am a certified nurse assistant and finding a job is no problem at all making $1500 monthly but i cant prove that until i get a car to get there? please somebody know SOMETHING!!

Go to a local church and tell them about your situation. You may be surprised at their willingness to help.

thats a toughy since usually car dealers with bad credit want to verify employment with checkstubs ect. There are places like eastern motors that base your getting a car for having a job (where your job is your credit, usually meaning 15-20% interest but hey ya get a damn car)

your problem makes me sick !!!!!!!!!! if your that smart how did you get in that mess? Having your nurses crap is so common!!!!!!!! its not what happens in your life its what you chose to do with it. if you have to have a high interest score for a while oh well

Oui... thats a predicament. Prolly at this point, I would advise finding a very cheap car and talking to your bank for one. TWO, talk to your local state assistance facility, here is Department of Human Services. Often times they can help people in ways people don't know abut because its situational based.

New car, not gonna happen. Old beat up car, pretty likely but if it works it will get you started.

After the job has been gained .... START looking for your credit companies and start paying off... a little at at time... Get all your Account numbers, document every payment, they will tell you you have to pay ungodly amounts, but if you send them money (even 20) I can promise you they will take it. Get this started ASAP!

That will work on your credit and get you started back on the road you need.

Also applying for loan after loan will look bad on a credit application as well so minimize the amounts of times you sign that dotted line.

Wait, I think I have one idea that you can put on your list of possiblities. O.k. It really depends on where you live and what they have in your community. But there are some cities that have charities that can hlep you with a car. I recently lived in Springfield, OH and their Catholic Charities there had a program where people would donate cars to them either working or that needed a little work and for the ones that didn't work to go they had funds and people that would fix them up and then they could give them to the needy. I don't know what restrictions they had and ect but it is worth a try to try to contact the Catholic Charities in your city or other Charities or your church or other peoples churches that you know shoot or ones that you don't know. If there is a will there is a way and even sometimes if there is a will and others see this they will help you with the way.

Go in person to any and all car lots and explain your situation. Prayer helps and you might think about not mentioning the fact that your man is in jail. He could be in Iraq or any place else. Sometimes it's not always good to paint a picture of your man as being a drug dealer or thief or worse or don't mention your man.I promise you that there is some-one out there that will help; you'll need insurance,plates registration etc.Your desire and ambition to get out and work will be a plus.The best of luck to you.. I don't think buying a car first then a job is a solution for you now. But finding a job making sure your baby is well taken care of that is something. Being a nurse assistant and earning that kind of money will boost you wiht your debt and a better life. What I have learnt in my life is that you face the situation/problem you are in now and deal with others later.

A car can help you but it does need maintanance and petrol to travel witha everyday unless where you live you just go to the filling station and fill-up with no money needed. Grab that job opportunity now and make sure you don't overspend with you credit cards they are very tempting and the price to pay is "bad credit record". Without credit and without a job no one is going to give you a loan. You can 1) ask a charity for help 2) go to yahoo yellow pages and find a nursing home or assisted living facility within walking or bicycling distance or if there is someone who works there who you can pay to give you rides. 3) get out the yellow pages and call home health agencies and see if anyone has clients you can get to by bicycle, walking or bus 4) move to where you are living near a nursing home or assisted living facility or bus stop to get to one that will hire you. You are in a shortage occupation.
