What kind of paper is good to print a resume on?

I will be sending out resumes for a job as a Certified Nurses Assistant.

I used to be a healthcare recruiter for a hospital and the resume that were on "Professional" resume paper really stood out from the rest. You can purchase this type of paper at retail stores like office max or staples. There is a section in the store for resume papers.

I would also recommend using a beige or cream colored professional paper for your resume. That way, your resume will stand out from other white colored papers and it will look extrememly professional to an employer. Good luck on your interviews!

Go to your local office supply store and get some Linen Resume paper, either white or cream. HR really doesn't like funky colors.

kinko's carries a lot of resume papers - they have the linen, and you can buy only a few sheets at a time, since a ream can be expensive

Parchment colored linen paper looks very professional. That's what I sent my resumes out on, maybe it had nothing to do with it, but I had a job within 2 weeks after graduating.

Plain white paper. Don't take the attention away from you. Your accomplishments are what matters. If you use fancy paper, the employer will wonder what you're trying to cover up.
