Can you sue a physician's assistant for malpractice? |
Theorhetically, can you? I'm not going to. I don't even know any physician's assistants. Yes, and Yes You can only sue the attending physician or the hospital, or the doctor's group. You can sue anyone for anything. Whether or not it will hold water in court or if you can find an attorney willing to help your case is a whole other matter. You can,but it costs loads of money.To illustrate: Yes, you can sue just about anybody. You might even win if they are negligient in their duties. Yes. All health care workers can be sued under the malpractice law. This is America. Where you can sue anybody for anything. yes or no, i'm not sure My mom's a nurse and she carries malpractice coverage for this reason. To the person who said they only follow orders-they are the ones giving the drugs and monitering care, so it isn't an out. Medical treatment errors are one of the top ten reasons for death. |
