Who is a CNA? certified nurse assistant?

do you like what you do? how was the cna test?

Loved it. My knees didn't. It can be very rewarding. It is hard work, very physical, very emotional. It is hard to be a caretaker, even in a temporary situation like a hospital where patients come and go every day, without getting too attached and keeping appropriate boundaries. The nurses supervise. The CNA's are who interact all day every day.

You can definitely make a difference in people's lives. It is a beautiful thing to be able to come to a person who is scared, vulnerable, and maybe even ashamed and make them feel special. Being able to handle death is a plus. Remeber, it is as natural as being born.

If you are continuing an education in nursing, the path is a lot easier with CNA work under your belt.

it used to be different in different states, Harder in New Mexico than it was in Kansas to pass the test and more training was required. I liked it and while you seem to get more patient interaction, you were always doing the "dirty work" burnt out pretty quickly, but if you can get a job with DD adults, that's fun

I took the cna class, this thursday i take state test all the girls at work say it is so easy.. I love what I do. it makes me feel good for doing something for some one else.
