Certified Nursing Assistants? |
This is for Certified Nursing Assistants. I do not care WHERE you work as a CNA, but how much do you make, per hour, right now? The hospital I work at, they give you a base pay rate. Depending on what shift(s) you work, depends on exactly how much you make an hour. If you work daytime shift, you only make your base pay rate an hour. If you work evenings, you get you base pay rate PLUS 10% of the base pay rate an hour. Night shift you get base pay rate PLUS 15% of the base pay rate an hour. Also, we get a weekend premium for any hours we work on the weekend (its about $1.25/hr extra on wkends). My base pay rate is $9.95. But I work 12hr shifts so I get the 10% evening and the 15% night added onto my base pay rate since I work 8pm-8am. Of course if I use annual leave, holiday time, etc. they only pay you the base pay rate. $7.50 at one job and $8.75 at another, both CNA positions |
