There are other counties apart from the USA, and if you had read the question you would see that the questioner referred to the term "Nursing Assistant" Report It THE ABOVE ANSWER IS FALSE!!! Most of the time 18 years old. You have to go thru an approved CNA class and then take a test. In some nursing homes, they will train you (and pay you for training) and then you work for them. depends if you're on about in the uk or the us. in the uk, a hca (healthcare assistant) can start from 18, all you need is to be literate, have c's in some GCSE's and be able to do a 6 week course in manual handling etc, or on the job training depending on the nhs trust you work within |
