If I have a license for a nursing assistant form New York - what do I have to do to make it valid in Georgia? As long as your license is current, you can contact the state board that governs CNA's in Georgia and ask for a reciprocity application. What this will do is transfer your licensure from NY to GA. There is usually a small fee to do this and it varies from state to state. Just do an online search for Georgia Board of Nursing Assistants, or something similar and you should be on your way! |
