Can you take the certified nursing assistant test without taking the class? It depends, if you are in nursing school and have taken the fundamentals class, you can use that in place of the cna class. Also some employers have training programs, as long as you work for a certain amount of hours you can challenge the exam. The best thing for you to do is to contact the board of nursing in your area. They can give you more information, especially since rules vary from state to state. Not to my knowledge. In my state you must take the class also. |
