A man become a certified nursing assistant? |
im from salisbury md im 23 a convicted felony i would like to know if it would be a good idea to become a cna the reason why is because its very hard to get a nice job in salisbury md and would it be a good idea for a male to become a nurse i love being around people and im a very loving person no im not gay i have a girl but i need a job very bad and im willing to do what ever to make something out of life Some of the best nurses aides I have worked with were men, and all of them were straight. I'm not sure you can get your CNA with a felony conviction on your record though. i dont think you needed to confirm your manhood about not being gay....i think its a great field for any and everyone I think you might want to consider something else. I too took a nursing assistant class through the Red Cross....very hard class, because they throw so much at you in such a short period of time....I think for a man, you have a great opportunity for advancement.....however, being a convicted felon may ruin your chances of getting hired anywhere....anywhere you apply, they run a background check. Maybe someone will take heart and give you a fair shake anyway! Best Wishes! Idont think with a felony record with this you are not aprove for medical field or goverment jobs , why dont you try something else , I am both shocked and appalled that you are equally or more concerned about working in a "woman's" job than your felony conviction. Lots of men become nurses, but your felony, esp if it is a violent crime makes the gender issue irrelevant anyway. |
