Nursing Assistant Registry?

I have not worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (or PCT) for about two years now, but now that I want to go back in I need to know if I'm still active or if not how do I get back to being active. I live in alabama, if thats any help.

all you will have to do is go get your licensed renewed if anything, you can call any future employer and ask the length of time , im not sure about alabama, most are about every 5 years.. But they may want differently since youve been out of practice for awhile.

your certification has probally ran out and you will need to get it up-dates, if you have a technical college near you it can be done in no time

i know that you are supposed to have to work one day a year to keep your license up and going, you can probably call a nursing home or hospital and ask, i know i hadn't used mine in three years and just recently had to retake the class. it was a breeze though, especially only being a two week class, i live in arkansas i don't know if it is just this way here or everywhere.
