What suggestions can you give me on joining Delta Sigma Theta?

I am a part time student now and will be full time in the spring. I am a nursing student with a GPA 2.8. I am currently a member of the Student Nursing Association on campus. I've done some community service outside of campus. I need suggestions on how to increase my chances of receiving an invitation to DST.

It really depends on each individual "chapter" does it at each University. Almost all of these organizations have "rushes", where they host events which interested students join up and try to socialize with the members. If they like you, they will ask you to pledge. So go to these rushes when they host it

Attend all of events (not just social but community service) sponsored by campus鈥檚 chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Raise your GPA to at least a 3.0. Try to talk to some of the Deltas on your campus. Look out for the rush flyer, and attend rush.
