If anyone is a RN who has gone on to specialize as a scrub nurse in Labor and Delivery, please tell me? |
What are the educational requirements to be a L&D scrub nurse and how much do you make annually? Is it more than just being an RN with a bachelors? To be a L&D scrub nurse you just have to be a Labor and Delivery nurse and request to be trained to learn how to scrub and assist in surgery--thats all. No bachelors required... More often then not they leave the RN's to circulate and hire a surgical tech to scrub...but there are some RN's the scrub as well... |
