Start as an rt but want to go for an rn? |
i was thinking of getting an aa degree in respiratory care You can do that, but you would have to start almost completely over with either another associates degree, or start taking pre-requisites for a BSN program. I would just go straight for the RN or BSN program. Respiratory therapists and nurses have different duties, so you really will take just as long to become a nurse as someone who doesn't have a health related degree. After a BSN program, you would have to get a master's in nursing to become a midwife. |
