How do you become a registered nurse without getting a bachelors of science in nursing?

I have a B.S. but I want to be an RN. I don't want to go to school for four more years to do this. Are there classes you can take at a hospital or something? Can I finish in one or two years going part time?

I am a registered nurse and I can guide you.

After High school, go to community college. Complete all the courses you need to get in to RN program in a community college. Make sure you have done all the extra classes you need for associate degree. Once you get in to Rn program, you will have a lot of work, so make sure you complete your G.E courses. The whole thing should take you 3-4 years.

also apply for financial aid. i didn't have to pay penny for my classes.

Stay away from private colleges. They tell you that you will be done with two years, but you will have too much loan on your head.

Stay away from diploma programs. In future you might want to get your BSN. BSN will get you to management level jobs.

If you are confused, e-mail me. I will be happy to guide you.

You don't have open option for E-mail.
The only short way is then diploma in RN. It's expensive, but it takes 2 years. There is also home study RN program which takes 2 years. If you have taken anatomy, physiology, microbiology, nutrition, sociology, psycology, English 101, Speech 101 in college years, then you might be able to save some time and get in to a community Rn program.

Other eise if you don't mind paying thousands and thousands of dollars....go to a private college and they will get you your RN in 2 years.
